Have just bought a nook color. Not a very good selection for 10-12 year olds on the free ebook section on Barnes and Noble site. What is the best completely FREE sites to download ebooks? Thanks in adance!

You can get a great deal of free books from your local library,but they only last on your e-reader for a few days or weeks and then poof, they're gone, automatically.

I just got a kindle from Amazon,but most of the books I want to purchase(especially the free ones)will say that I'm not in the region. How can I purchase then? I also tried to change my address to the United states but I need an address and I don't live there?

This may be a stupid question, but are you shopping at Amazon's US site or the UK site?

Also, a lot of the free books are in the public domain. these can be found in Kindle format at gutenberg.org and manybooks.net, among others. You have to download them and transfer them to the Kindle via USB, but it's pretty easy.

Gutenberg.org and manybooks.net both have huge collections of books in the public domain, in practically every format used.

Am a struggling fashion designer aspirant and am currently enrolled in a fashion school here in Manila on partial scholarship. Books such as Nine Heads are not only hard to come by here but expensive as well. Can anybody help me by telling me where I can download a free e-book of Nine Heads or any similar e-books like that. hi :) well, i design too. try googling on this topic (keyword- free ebook on fashion design). u might find some good books. some of them have a price but some of them might be free. good luck anyway!!!

It's fast and has a huge collection of books across all genres. Did I mention that they also have magazines, comics, audio books and even textbooks?
