Where is a website that i can download books to my laptop for free and no charge what so ever????? Please help?! I'm looking for recent books not like text-books or historic books!

Your biggest problem is finding what kind of ebooks you want, and then there is the free part. Authors have to eat and buy computers also. So first, be a good citizen and do not download stollen ebooks. Second you need to be a bit more open on what kind of ebooks you want.

Many ebook stores have a section of free ebooks, They also have the ereader programs so you can read these ebooks on your computer. Remember, when you are talking about an ebook you are talking about the words. You cannot buy the words of an author (as in I own it and can give it away to anyone I want kind of ownership) you can only buy the medium it will be read on. For example people give books away all the time, in reality you are giving the paper portion away, the words just go along for the ride. It is very illegal to copy all the words and put it on another medium and give that away. Those words are not yours to give away. You can legally load an ebook away if you loan the reader with it, in your case it would have to be your computer. In my case it would be one of my physical readers. I rarely loan, simply because my physicals readers are costly. Find someone with a Kindle and see if they are willing to loan to to you.
